Growth in Services Sector in India Witnessed in Oct, Highest Since Early 2015

<p>Despite major inflationary pressures, activity in India's main services sector accelerated in October, supported by strong domestic demand, which resulted in the second-fastest hiring rate in more than three years. The S&P Global India services Purchasing Managers' Index increased slightly to 55.1 in October from a six-month low of 54.3 in September, easily surpassing the 54.6 estimates and remaining above the 50-point threshold.</p>
