Anthropic has signed a lease with EverWind for data centre capacity at Point Tupper, Nova Scotia, marking the Claude maker's first infrastructure deal in Canada. The agreement anchors EverWind’s massive C$10 billion clean-energy and data centre campus—the largest private investment in the province's history—providing compute power for Anthropic while creating roughly 2,000 construction jobs and 215 permanent positions.
