Hirect, a Hiring Platform, Fires 40% of Its Employees

<p>Hirect, a chat-based direct recruiting platform, has laid off 200 individuals, or 40% of its workforce. The move has been described by the corporation as an organisational restructure and a strategic shift in its business model. &quot;We still have hundreds of employees,&quot; said Raj Das, co-founder and CEO of Hirect. &nbsp;Hirect, ironically, posted a Linkedin post claiming that Hirect links you directly with people wanting to hire you a few months ago.</p>
