H&M is trying to mainstream smart clothing

<p>H&M's CTO Alan Boehme said he wants smart clothes to compete with wearables. These smart clothes can monitor heart rate and hydration levels. This comes at a crucial time as people have gravitated more towards online shopping. Besides, in efforts to make production sustainable, H&M worked with a research institute based in Hong Kong to build a machine. The machine could take apart unwanted clothes and make new products from them.<br /> </p>
