House Committee Will Hold Hearing on FTX Collapse
<p>Representatives Maxine Waters and Patrick McHenry, leading members of the House Financial Services Committee, announced a hearing in December to investigate the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX. The committee intends to hear from FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, his trading firm Alameda Research LLC, and competing platform Binance. According to persons aware with the situation, the Manhattan U.S. Attorney's office is examining FTX's collapse.</p>
