HPE Surpasses Q2 Expectations Amid Soaring AI Server Demand, Records $1.36 Billion Charge

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) exceeded Wall Street expectations in its fiscal second quarter, reporting revenue of $7.63 billion and adjusted earnings of 38 cents per share, driven by strong demand for AI-optimized servers and hybrid cloud solutions. Despite a $1.36 billion impairment charge, shares rose 3.2% in extended trading. The company forecasts third-quarter revenue between $8.2 billion and $8.5 billion, anticipating continued growth in AI-driven infrastructure.
