IBM to transform into a hybrid cloud management company: CEO

<p>IBM CEO Arvind Krishna, in an interview to CNBC, made it clear that IBM will transform into a hybrid cloud management vendor. That means that IBM will continue to sell its own infrastructure or software services, however, the focus will be on leveraging Red Hat, the company it bought for $34 bn in 2018. Krishna sees a trillion-dollar opportunity in the hybrid cloud management market. He believes Microsoft and Amazon as likely partners in this journey.</p>
