India Approves ₹23,000 Crore Scheme to Boost Electronics Component Manufacturing

The Indian government has sanctioned a ₹23,000 crore program aimed at strengthening the domestic electronics manufacturing supply chain. Spanning six years, the Electronics Component Manufacturing (ECM) scheme is projected to attract ₹60,000 crore in investments, generate ₹4.57 lakh crore in production & create approximately 91,600 direct jobs. It offers tailored incentives based on employment, turnover & capital expenditure to enhance technological capabilities & integrate with value chains.
