India Telcos to increase prices of data plans with 5G

<p>India's mobile operators may resort to another price hike next year as the market prepares to usher 5G services. While 5G allows the telcos to generate additional revenue streams, it is expected to come at a huge cost. The bigger chunk of the additional cost will be the price of airwaves companies. The cost pressure, coupled with more headroom in a market with one of the cheapest mobile data plans will lead the telcos to increase the prices further.</p>
