Indian firms pay hackers nearly Rs 6 cr per DNS attack
<p>Organisations in India paid at least Rs 6 cr per DNS attack, as such attacks touched peak&nbsp;(12.13 per organisation) this year.&nbsp;Nearly 27% of firms had sensitive customer information stolen, compared to 16% globally. Cloud service downtime touched 65%. The costs of attacks in India, however, decreased by 6.08 % said a report published by EfficientIP and IDC. Globally, nearly 79% of the&nbsp;organisation experienced DNS attacks, with the average cost of around $924,000.&nbsp;</p>
