India's Digital Initiatives Could Be a Model for Other Countries to Follow

<p>The digital rupee and India Stack are being touted as models for other countries to follow in creating their own digital currencies and identity systems. India Stack, a set of open APIs that enable online transactions and identity verification, has already been adopted by several Indian government agencies and private companies. The digital rupee, which is still in development, could provide a way for India to reduce its dependence on cash.</p>
