India’s Kuku Raises $85M as Mobile Content Competition Heats Up
Kuku, an Indian storytelling and content platform backed by Google, has secured $85 million in Series C funding, led by Granite Asia, boosting its valuation to around $500 million. It plans to scale its audio and video offerings and expand internationally with a U.S. launch next year. Existing investors including Vertex Growth, IFC, and Tribe Capital also participated in the round.
