India's Supreme Court to Hear Google Antitrust Case

India's Supreme Court has admitted cross-appeals from Google, the Competition Commission of India (CCI), and the Alliance of Digital India Foundation regarding a prior ruling on Google's Play Store policies. The case, which accuses Google of abusing its dominant market position and imposing unfair conditions, will be heard in November. An appellate tribunal had previously upheld some of the CCI's findings but reduced a penalty from ₹936 crore to ₹216.69 crore.
