Infosys Challenges ₹415 Crore GST Show Cause Notice in Karnataka High Court
Infosys has filed a writ petition in the Karnataka High Court contesting a ₹415 crore show cause notice issued by the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI). The notice alleges that services provided by Infosys' overseas branches were not eligible for export classification, rendering the input tax credit (ITC) refunds claimed between FY2018–19 and FY2023–24 ineligible. Infosys maintains compliance with GST laws and asserts that the notice will not materially impact its business.
