Intel seeks $624 M from EU in interest after antitrust fine case victory

<p>Intel has filed a claim with the European Commission for $ 624 M in interest, five months after convincing Europe's second-highest court to dismiss a 1.06 B euro EU antitrust fine, according to an EU filing on Monday. Last year, Europe's top court paved the path for such claims when it issued a historic judgment ordering the EU executive to pay default interest on penalties refunded.</p>
