Intel will reveal details of its European investment plans today

<p>Intel intends to reveal specifics of its investment plans for semiconductor research and manufacture in Europe on Tuesday, indicating that new factory locations have been finalised. Last September, the US chipmaker announced plans to invest up to $95B in Europe over the next decade, and CEO Patrick Gelsinger said that the company would disclose the chosen manufacturing sites in the coming months. In Europe, Intel currently produces semiconductors at a site in Ireland.</p>
