JPMC shares patents to low-carbon tech to speed up adoption

<p>JP Morgan Chase & Co. has said that it would allow companies to use its patented low-carbon technology. Joining Facebook, Microsoft, and HP is hoping that sharing patents will speed up eco-friendly tech adoption, JPMC is making several patents about how it cools and ventilates its massive data centers, available to anyone. Since April this year, companies have shared over 450 patents in hopes to reduce the global carbon footprint.</p>
