Keep Out of Tech: ASML Warns EU Not to Steer Strategic Projects

ASML CEO Christophe Fouquet has warned the European Union Commission against attempting to directly manage and steer state-aided "strategic projects". While supporting the EU’s push for technological independence, Fouquet emphasized that tech policy must remain demand-driven and grounded in private sector expertise.
