Laptop, tablet manufacturing in India $100B opportunity: ICEA Report
<p>‘Made in India’ laptop and tablets can bring up $100 billion opportunities for the country by 2026, said a joint report by India Cellular & Electronics Association (ICEA) and global consultancy major EY. China is currently dominating the device manufacturing market with over 66% of the share. India can obtain a sizable share of the global market by investing $1 bn for manufacturing in Made in India devices, creating 5 lakh jobs and an inflow of foreign exchange of $75 bn.</p>
