LG acquires Israeli cybersecurity startup Cybellum

<p>LG has announced the acquisition of Israeli automotive cybersecurity firm Cybellum. Founded in 2016, the firm offers a risk assessment software capable of scanning vehicle components for risks and vulnerabilities. The deal LG signed grants it 63.9% of shares of Cybellum, with additional shares to be bought by year-end. Cybellum's current team will continue to run the company independently and will work with LG for its features as well.</p>
