Lightspeed Targets $250M India Fund Focused Exclusively on Early-Stage AI Startups

Lightspeed is targeting $250 million for Lightspeed India Partners V, a new early-stage fund focused entirely on AI companies in India and Southeast Asia. The fund is half the size of its 2022 predecessor, which has deployed about 80% of its capital. Lightspeed plans to begin investing within two months and sees AI applications as a major opportunity for India’s startup ecosystem.
