London-based AI startup raises $50 M

<p>Synthesia, a London-based artificial intelligence startup, said it has raised $50 M from Silicon Valley venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins and GV and other investors. The startup created a video on its platform that incorporates the tech to announce the funding. The startup stated that the funding will be used to accelerate growth and improve tech. Victor Riparbelli, co-founder and CEO of Synthesia, said the startup only creates avatars of people who have consented.</p>
