Lone Star Silicon: Wistron Opens $700M Texas Plant for Nvidia AI Chips

Taiwanese manufacturer Wistron has launched a $700 million facility in Fort Worth, Texas, to build Nvidia’s next-generation AI systems.The plant has begun mass-producing Nvidia’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and will eventually manufacture the upcoming Vera Rubin Superchip. Supporting Nvidia’s $500 billion U.S. infrastructure drive, the site currently employs over 500 workers and aims to reach 1,000 by year-end.
