L&T is using AI to enforce facemasks, social distancing, safety norms among workforce

<p>Tech giant L&T said they have been using AI from the onset of the pandemic to detect facemasks and distancing among its employees. The AI engines detect the individuals, locate their supervisor and relay the information to them in real-time. The deployed AI identifies the absence of safety jackets or helmets, masks, safety shoes, etc. L&T found that AI is 19 times more efficient than a team of individuals for identifying violations of safety rules.</p>
