Many in New Jersey lose internet access due to major Optimum outage

<p>According to Optimum's outage map, at least 13,000 subscribers in New Jersey were impacted by a significant shutdown. However, by the time it was evening, the firm claimed that most consumers had their service restored, and the map, indicated that only 16 customers were still without service. The internet, TV, and phone service provider Optimum, which is owned by Altice USA, hasn't said which of its services were down.</p>
