Mass production of 3nm chips begins at Samsung

<p>The 3nm process node, Samsung's most recent chip production technology that enables smaller circuits to contain significantly more power, has started chip mass production. Samsung announced that it has begun mass producing chips using its most cutting-edge contract chip manufacturing technology to date, the 3-nanometer (nm) process node. Samsung said that its 3nm technology-enhanced efficiency by 23% while reducing power consumption by 45%.</p>
