Meta develops AI system that can animate drawings

<p>Meta researchers created an AI system that recognises and animates human-like figures in children&#39;s drawings. Users can upload artwork to the prototype system and watch the drawn characters perform actions like dancing, skipping, and jumping. The AI uses Mask R-CNN to extract the human-like characters within a child&#39;s drawing for processing. Mask R-CNN has been pre-trained on one of the most extensive publicly available segmentation data sets.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
