Meta Nears Record $30B Financing Deal for Louisiana AI Data Center
Meta is finalizing a nearly $30 billion financing package for its upcoming Hyperion data center in Richland Parish, Louisiana—the largest private capital deal ever recorded. Under the arrangement, Meta will retain only 20% ownership while a special purpose vehicle (SPV), backed by Blue Owl Capital and debt raised by Morgan Stanley, finances the build-out. Meta will act as the site’s developer, operator, and tenant.
