Meta Plans To Shut Down Portal, Smartwatches Projects

<p>Meta had recently laid off 11,000 workers, the vast majority of whom were employed in its technology division. Meta said in June that it will no longer be making Portal devices for consumers. Furthermore, the brand has abandoned the smartwatch project codenamed "Milan." According to reports, the wristwatch would be available in 2023 and would cost around $350. Now, the corporation has decided to cancel its ambitions to release its unannounced smartwatches.</p>
