Meta Platforms Halts Employment, Issues Restructuring Alert

<p>In light of the hazy macroeconomic environment, Meta will halt hiring and continue restructuring, according to a statement from Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg to staff members. As advertisers cut spending to get ready for an impending recession, some computer companies have been compelled to reduce personnel in recent months. According to Reuters the social media company had reduced its plans to hire engineers by at least 30% this year.</p>
