Meta Platforms Penalized By Turkey's Competition Authority

<p>The parent company of Facebook, Meta Platforms Inc, was penalized by Turkey's competition authorities of 346.72 million lira ($18.63 million) for infringing the law. According to the Turkish regulator, the business blocked rivals by combining data from its primary platforms, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, and enjoyed a strong position in personal social networking services and online video advertising.</p>
