Meta Secures $27 Billion to Fund Massive AI Data Center
Meta has finalized a massive $27 billion financing deal with Blue Owl Capital for its largest-ever data center, "Hyperion," in Louisiana. This project will provide over 2 gigawatts of compute capacity, a critical expansion of AI infrastructure to support the training of large language models. The move is a joint venture, with Meta retaining about 20% equity.
