Micron To Invest Up To $100 Billion In New York Chip Plant

<p>Micron, a semiconductor manufacturer, said that it will invest up to $100 billion in the construction of a chip facility close to Syracuse, New York. The decision was made as Micron tries to make use of the $280 billion CHIPS and Science Act, which included funds from the Biden administration. Micron's new center would have four distinct fabs situated on a 1,300-acre property in Clay, New York.</p>
