Microsoft acquires video-editing firm Clipchamp

<p>Microsoft has acquired Australia-based video editing and creation company Clipchamp, for an undisclosed amount. Clipchamps technology will be integrated into Microsoft 365 for regular use. Its editing tools work in-browser and were founded in 2014. Clipchamp was already working in a partnership with Google and Microsoft. The Google partnership, and Microsoft's interest in the video-editing community are likely reasons for the acquisition.<br />
