Microsoft Considers Developing a "Super App"

<p>In an effort to weaken the grip Apple and Alphabet's Google have on the mobile search market, Microsoft has contemplated creating a "super app" that would offer shopping, messaging, news, and web search services. Microsoft executives also wanted the app to increase user engagement with Teams messaging and other mobile services, as well as the company's multimillion-dollar advertising division and Bing search.</p>
