Microsoft's DCI takes control of malicious websites
<p>Microsoft took control of several websites used by a hacking group backed by the Chinese govt to target firms in 29 countries, including the US. Microsoft&#39;s DCI announced that a federal court in Virginia had granted an order allowing the company to seize control of the websites and redirect traffic to Microsoft servers. The state-sponsored hacking group, Nickel or ATP15, used the websites to gather intelligence from govt agencies, according to the company.</p>
