Musk Estimates that Twitter Would Remove 1.5B Accounts to Make Space

<p>Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, announced that 1.5 billion inactive accounts would be removed to make room for new ones. Musk had, in the past, postponed the $44 billion Twitter acquisition due to worries about bots. When asked about his &quot;opinion on DMs and user privacy rights&quot; earlier in the day on Twitter, Musk also responded that DMs should be encrypted. &nbsp;</p>
