National Security First: Nvidia CEO Pivots Stance on China Chip Sales

Reversing months of lobbying the US government to permit high-end AI chip sales to China, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang told shareholders that national security takes priority over business interests. Huang emphasized the company will strictly comply with US export rules, warning that smuggling chips is a "dead end" because advanced data centers fail without Nvidia’s official software, networking support, and ongoing technical maintenance.
