Nazara Reclassifies Nodwin as Associate as Esports Arm Raises Capital
Nazara Technologies has decided not to participate in Nodwin Gaming’s upcoming internal fundraising, resulting in its stake dropping below 50% and reclassifying Nodwin—from subsidiary to associate—while remaining its largest shareholder. The move waives some controlling rights to allow Nodwin operational and financial flexibility. Funds from existing investors will fuel Nodwin’s expansion in esports and youth media. The board approved the change, pending shareholder nod on August 13.
