Nigerian Start-Up is Utilising Technology to Assist Visually Impaired

<p>Vinsighte, a Nigerian start-up, is using technology to help the visually handicapped, with many products including "smart" reading glasses that translate text to audio. According to the World Health Organization, about 15.3% of the world's blind population lives in Africa, where they frequently lack the resources. The company sells its products to schools and institutions, with an estimated 5,000 persons reached.</p>
