NSO has 22 contracts in EU for Pegasus spyware

<p>Israeli technology company NSO Group appears to have a significant foothold in the region with at least 22 contracts encompassing 12 of the EU's 27 member states. The cell phone of the target of the monitoring can be infected using Pegasus malware or alternative technologies. The operator can then listen in on conversations, read encrypted messages from apps, and have full access to all contacts and information on the device.</p>
