Nvidia Powering Up: $3B Deal Secures Energy for AI Data Center Giant

Nvidia is investing up to $3 billion in energy infrastructure developer Lancium to secure power resources for AI data centers, including the Abilene, Texas "Stargate" project. The chipmaker will pay $2 billion upfront for a 20% stake in the Blackstone-backed company, with an additional $1 billion tied to grid interconnection milestones. The deal values Lancium at around $10 billion.
