Nvidia Provides China with New Cutting-Edge Chip That Complies With U.S. Export Laws

<p>Nvidia Corp, a U.S. chip manufacturer, announced that it is now offering a new, advanced chip in China that complies with current export control. The new regulations are intended to prevent China from obtaining cutting-edge technology. The new chip, known as the A800, is the first publicly acknowledged attempt by a U.S. semiconductor company to develop cutting-edge processors for China that adhere to new U.S. trade regulations.</p>
