NVIDIA to Invest Up to $100B in OpenAI, Deploy 10 GW of AI Infrastructure by Late 2026

NVIDIA and OpenAI have announced a landmark strategic partnership where NVIDIA plans to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI, progressively as infrastructure is deployed. OpenAI will build and deploy at least 10 gigawatts of data center computing using NVIDIA’s systems. The first portion—1 GW of compute on the Vera Rubin platform—is slated for deployment in the second half of 2026.
