Nvidia's sales of top AI chips to China are halted by US officials

<p>Chip manufacturer Nvidia Corp claimed US officials ordered it to halt supplying two of the best processing chips to China for use in artificial intelligence projects. The action will hinder the capacity of Chinese companies to do complex work like image recognition and harm Nvidia's Chinese operations. The business claimed the prohibition could obstruct the development of the H100, the company's flagship chip unveiled this year by Nvidia.</p>
