Nvidia’s $40B acquisition of Arm no longer happening, says sources

<p>Nvidia, according to sources close to the transaction, is no longer pursuing Arm. The company announced the deal in September and was slated to cost $40B which made it the biggest ever deal in the tech industry. Nvidia will be paying Arm’s owner, Softbank, $1.25B as compensation for not completing the deal while Arm CEO, Simon Segars will be replaced by Rene Hass. Both the companies have not yet publicly announced the failure of this deal.</p>
