Oracle buys electronic healthcare records company, Cerner

<p>Oracle announced the acquisition of Cerner, a provider of electronic health records, for $28.3 B. Holger Mueller, an analyst at Constellation Research, said it's the biggest deal in Oracle history. Cerner will be a huge additional revenue growth engine for years to come, according to Oracle CEO Safra Catz. Cerner CEO David Feinberg describes the deal as a way for his company to grow in ways that it couldn't do on its own.<br />
