Oracle joins Microsoft, Google in establishing Data Center in Africa
<p>Oracle has set up a data center in South Africa for providing cloud computing services to the nation. Africa is Oracle&#39;s 37th cloud region. The company plans to open at least 44 cloud regions in 2022, to catch up with rivals like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. The regional MD for the Middle East and Africa said that Oracle has no plans to set up more datacenter in Africa this year but the company is open to exploring areas like West Africa and Cherian Varghese in 2023.</p>
