Orchard Robotics Raises $22 M to Bring AI Vision to Fruit Farming

Orchard Robotics, founded in 2022 by Cornell dropout and Thiel Fellow Charlie Wu, has raised a $22 million Series A led by Quiet Capital and Shine Capital, with participation from General Catalyst and Contrary. The startup equips tractors with AI-powered cameras to capture ultra-high-res imagery for assessing fruit size, color, and health. Its cloud platform helps growers make precise decisions on fertilization, labor, and pruning, spanning apples, grapes, and soon blueberries
