Over 20,000 New Hires Left Zhengzhou iPhone Plant
<p>20,000 employees, the majority of whom are new hires, have departed Apple iPhone producer Foxconn's Zhengzhou plant. This follows protests fueled by worker anger over Covid-19 limits, which halted manufacturing. The majority of the new hires had not yet begun working on the production line. This might have a knock-on effect on Apple's manufacturing targets, especially as we approach Christmas and the Lunar New Year holiday in January.</p>
